Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Free for Two Weeks

The Call of Duty series is the flagship of Activision. Since 2003, it has received many awards and even got into the Guinness Book of Records as the best-selling shooter in the world. Call of Duty: Vanguard is the eighteenth game in the series and was released in November 2021. Like most of the previous parts, the events of Vanguard unfold during the Second World War. Almost right after the release, the company began to update regularly and expand the content: the developers added new characters and skins and organized various seasonal events. On the occasion of the Season Two Reloaded update, Activision decided to make Vanguard free for two weeks.

Note that the promotion does not apply to the entire game. First of all, two new maps are available to users, Gondola and Casablanca. Also, gamers can experience objective mode on a large map. The players’ task is to capture and defend bases and gates to move around the map. Users will also be able to check out other multiplayer maps and playlists, including the popular Das Haus and Shipment. Thus, you can appreciate the range of possibilities of the cult game.

Please note that the promotion will last until April 13th. So hurry up if you’re interested. Moreover, in 2023, according to Bloomberg, Activision may temporarily suspend the development of Call of Duty games for the first time in 20 years. True, at least two more projects are planned to be released before this happens. Journalists mark that this decision is due to the desire to restart the series after unsatisfactory sales of the last part. However, Vanguard is still one of the most popular multiplayer shooters.

What are your thoughts on the whole COD series? Or have you not played it yet? If not, are you going to try the free version of Vanguard?
